The Resort Cup is an annual competition between Club Members from Sunriver, Black Butte, Widgi Creek and Eagle Crest Resorts.
It is a Stableford format with eleven (11) players per Resort team:
The team score for the day will be the total of the best 4 of 5 "Net Stableford" scores from Flight A and 4 of 5 "Net Stableford" scores from Flight B, plus the Team Pro's "Net Stableford" score. The Resort team with the highest Net Stableford score after all four rounds will be the Resort Cup Champion.
The break point between the high and low handicap divisions will be an index of 13.0. Participants will be paired with players from the other Resort teams with similar handicaps when possible.
QUALIFYING
The first three events will have separate and distinct qualifying rounds from which three of the five players in each handicap division will earn a spot on the Resort Cup team. The remaining two spots in each handicap division will be filled by "Captain's choice".
Qualifying rounds for Resort Cup play are listed below and are also published on the 2009 season schedule where they are marked with an "RCQ" in the game format column.
Qualifying for play at Black Butte will be held on our Play date May 12, 2010.
Qualifying for the Eagle Crest round will be held on our Spring Fling Play Date May 27, 2010.
Qualifying for play at Widgi Creek will be held on TBD.
Qualifying for play at Sunriver and the Final Round will be our Play Date August 25, 2010:
COST
Total cost for each player participating in an away match will be $45. Fee will cover that "day's play" prize fund, range balls, cart and green fees. Additional funding required for that day will be provided by the SR Men's Golf Club. Fees do not provide for food or beverage.
